Family Relations

Zack Elkmann(brother)

Tom Elkmann, also known as Mr. Awesome, is the main protagonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Project Games live action series. He is your typical duelist who ends up being caught in a quest to prevent the game's most powerful cards ending up in the hands of the evil card hunters, crafting the ultimate deck to use to rule the world.

Backround

A few years ago, Tom Elkmann (who was given the nickname Mr. A for his many victories) was an exceptionally good duelist. He had won every duel he'd been in until the Excalibur Fragment became something that he sought after. Before he got far though he was challenged to a shadow duel by an unknown duelist. Tom comes in confident, but his opponent eventually beat him with their Red-Eyes deck. When Tom lost this duel, he also lost all of his memories of playing the game. Eventually though, the new type of monsters called XYZ monsters came out. And, peaking his interest, got him back into dueling (though he had to relearn most of the things he knew before losing his memory). But after a Card Hunter breaks into his home, Tom ends up on a near-relentless hunt to find the person responsible and regain his memories

Personality

Tom is a fun guy who duels with a burning passion. However, he is very serious when it comes to dueling (though can't help but say the occasional quip). Later on however, he dons a bit more of a serious personality, due to the conditions he experiences while trying to regain his memories. He also shows some level of concern to his friends and family. Tom also thinks outside the box during duels, executing moves that most duelists don't even think about.

Dueling Deck:

Tom owned mulitple decks, typically having cards that people think wouldn't go together very well to create surprisingly powerful combos (Though his first one was taken from him when he lost a Shadow Duel against the unknown duelist, he made a new one getting back into the game). His current deck revolves around a lot of effects that mess with the opponent. From burn, to destruction, to placing cards in places they were before hitting the field etc. While mainly focused on XYZs summoning Rank 4 monsters, his deck is also capable of Synchro summoning a variety a different level synchros with a wide range of effects. He also wields the Egyptian God Obelisk the Tormentor.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Project Games:

Episode 1:

In the series Yu-Gi-Oh! Project Games, Tom (referred to as Mr.A at first) is the main character. He is first introduced when he has an uninvited intruder stealing his brother's deck. He proceeds to defeat him in a duel, making him give the deck back.

Episode 2

The next day he begins having unexplained flashbacks that give him a migrain. Zack (reffered to as M360 for a while) then comes into the scene. Tom the prompts him to make edits to his heavily flawed deck as he decides to take a walk, where he's confronted and challenged to a Shadow Duel by another duelist named Stryker who works under the same person as the previous one. During the duel he realizes that his brother is in danger and proceeds to go find him, coming in after Zack defeats another duelist named Jerico in a Shadow Duel. Not wanting for his brother to end up losing a Shadow Duel, Tom decides to take him under his wing to teach him every advanced trick he relearned up to that point.

Episodes 3 and 4

One winter later, spring comes about and Tom accidentally drops his deck on his way to win a local tourney, unknowingly picking up the Egyptian God Obelisk the Tormentor. After Tom wins the tourney, he is then confronted by an unnamed Gravekeeper duelist tries to defeat him. In this duel Tom gets out Obelisk the Tormentor, and proceeds to defeat the Gravekeeper duelist easily.

Episodes 5 - 8

Soon, Tom becomes quite confident in his abilities until a Card Hunter using Photons OTKs him, and was almost sent to the Shadow Realm. But his brother, Zack Elkmann, steps in to protect Tom. This puts Zack into a coma. Shortly after that, furious at his loss, Tom temporally donned a Cyber Dragon deck that focused on the Cyber Twin Dragon. Tom relentlessly destroyed several Card Hunter's decks, until his friend Tuffy, challenged him to a duel where if he lost, he'd have to go back to his old deck. Tuffy wins and Tom decides to make quite a number of improvements before challenging the Photon Duelist again. Tom then beats him in the rematch by going for one hit KO with Obelisk the Tormentor.

Episodes 9 - 12

The next day, Tom is headed to the locals when he runs into Prez Koumori. The two decide to duke it out with their cards right there, afterwards defeating the tag-teaming Duelists Nate and Saul together. It's during this duel where his dueling skills are noticed by a Duel Academy Student. This Duel Academy student then reports his sighting to Chancellor Shawn Yuki of the North-East Duel Academy

Episode 13 and 14

A few days later, Tom gets an invitation in the mail, inviting him to the North-East Duel Academy, who is preparing for the upcoming Quad Academy Duel Tournmanet. When he gets there, he is challenged by their best student, Wayne Darwan. After Tom defeats him using a combo involving Armored Bee and #39 Utopia, a student reports that another Card Hunter was going around stealing the decks of the other students. After hearing this, Tom instantly goes to confront him. They duel, and Tom just barely wins by springing Magic Cylinder on the Card Hunter's Gauntlet Launcher. While the defeated Card Hunter is still unconscious, Tom takes the Gauntlet Launcher he played. He then heads home after exchanging numbers with the Chancellor in order to stay in touch about possible enrollment.

Episode 15

After hearing about this, Ravano, the mysterious person from Tom's past and the Leader of the Card Hunters going after Tom, decides to take matters into his own hands and eliminate the competition from the Northeast, Northwest, and Southeast Duel Academies. However, they all rebound from this. The Northwest convices Prez Koumori to represent them, The Southeast represenative scares Ravano off, and Chancellor Shawn contacts Tom personally to have him represent them in the tournament. Fusterated, Ravano joins the tournament himself.

Ravano eventually pulls out the strongest monster in his deck: Star Eater, and almost finishes Tom. But Tom holds out just long enough to summon Utopia for the second time(after being sent to the graveyard after Utopia Ray V was destroyed early on), and defeat Ravano.

Season 1 Epiloge

Having defeated Ravano, setting every soul taken under his name free, Tom obtains the prize card and an invitation the next year's event, and heads home to see his brother, who had just gotten out of his comma from long before. Mechanical Mayhem

Act 1

Proceeding the events of the Quad Academy Duel Tournament, things are uneventful until one day a Duel Bot escapes from Minakai Industries, making it's way to Tom's house. Tired, but interested to see the power the Duel Bot wields, decides to duel it with the Synchro deck he had spent all of the previous night putting together. At first, the Duel Bot overwhelms Tom with Diabolos and Dark Armed Dragon, but Tom turns the tables, generating a long string of Synchro Summons that causes the Duel Bot to malfunction, allow Tom to finish it off.

Act 2

With the Duel Bot having returned to Minakai Industries, it goes to the lab for scans. But, a Hacker had set a bug in the Duel Bot that causes it to go haywire, escaping Minakai Industries for the 2nd time. But, unlike before, it had an active Duel Monster out(Diablos), and due to it's code being overriden, it continues to attack until Tom intercepts one of it's attacks with Scapegoat, proceeding to duel it. As the duel begins, the Duel Bot activates its experimental Electron Field, which simulates a Shadow Duel by putting extra electrons in the air, making the monsters more realistic and the experience more pain-inducing in the process.

Act 3

With the duel having commenced, Tom generates another chain of summons that bring out Ancient Fairy Dragon and Seven Swords Warrior. For a short time, the Duel Bot struggles, but lasts long enough against Tom to go back onto the Offensive with The Dark Creator, Dark Armed Dragon, and a new monster called Fiendish Engine Omega. it almost defeats Tom, but Tom saves himself by activating Damage Diet. In one last offensive tactic, Tom summons Utopia Beyond, ending the duel.
